Graduated in Economics, MBA in Finance and PHD in Economics and Innovation, she is Professor of Economics and Business Management at the University of Turin. She is director of the AI and BigData Laboratory of the University of Torino HighEst LAb, and vice director of digital humanity interdepartmental center Dish. Member of the PhD board in Circular Economy and Heritage Science, she has published more than 90 articles in national and international journals and is the author of two books. She was visiting professor at Westminster University and Glasgow University. She founded and directed the interdepartmental technology innovation center ICxT for technology transfer. She was Minister of Technological Innovation and Digitisation of the Italian Republic in the Conte II government, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Minister of Public Function in the Draghi government. She was Councillor for Innovation and Smart City in the City of Turin during the Appendino government. She has worked in Italy and abroad in consulting firms on technological transformation projects for companies in various sectors (banking, pharmaceuticals, publishing, fashion). She is an expert in technological innovation and digital transformation in public and private companies.
